How can i get rid of the automatic sign on thing, so i have to manually sign in everytime i come here? I selected the automatic one, but it seems to cause problems.... It can't find anywhere to get rid of it.

Try clearing your cache.
In IE, it's called temp internet files and they are accessed through your internet options in one of the drop down menus.
In Netscape it's called the cache and its in the edit, preferences drop down menu.

In IE, you go to Tools -> Internet Options -> and then you delete temporary internet files.
The auto sign in is stored in your browser memory. So that should get rid of it

I am not sure, the problems are at the office, but the IT guy that i use said that he couldn't figure out what was wrong. When i went to reply or start a post it would take me round in circles between the please sign in & the you have already signed pages! I suppose i will findout tomorrow.

You will only encounterthe problem when youchange aliases for this forum, just turn off theautomatic sign in and then you can choose. It iswhat iscalled misdirection

If the problem doesn't get fixed;

when you go to the page that has you name and password already filled in, it asks you a question "are you this member". Just click "no" and sign in. Also don't click "remember password".

I did what you said willow in regards to taking away the automatic signing in thingamajiggy. It now asks me for my name & password at home, but a work it still asks me to resign in, but then gets stuck..... Maybe i should unjoin & rejoin.....
There you go, it cannot be me, as i can only post after 5pm at the moment!!
