Technical problems with posting . . .

Of late when I am in the process of writing a post i find myself suddenly logged out of the forum . For me to complete the post I need to sign - in once again and then return to said thread , my post still remains , but in a light grey color until I commence writing once more . So basically what has occurred is that I am no longer ‘ logged in ‘ and therefore cannot complete my post until I log in again . To say this is annoying is an understatement , as when I have finally returned to my uncompleted post there will only be half of what I had originally wrote remaining.

Would anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could possibly be and also has any other member had the same problem ? Also I can still traverse the forum , however as I said earlier have been logged-out ?
Would appreciate any assistance.

muzby , thank you for your reply , I am at home using an iPad iOS 11.4.1 ( unfortunately I am not too clever with computers or the like ) . The device has only just begun to do this ( only 12 months old ) and oddly enough only when I am on the Forum - on no other websites

What occurred earlier today was that I had completed a post and pressed the Post Reply button , but it was then returned unsent .

I have had something similar happen, but only when travelling on the train. I assumed it was due to the train going through a dead zone.

I ruled out the PEBKAC and had it confirmed it was a PEBCAK. Fixed once the penny dropped mate.

The iPad , not computer , is cellular only , not connected to a modem hazzbeen.

Do you have multiple mobile towers in range? Potentially could be an IP switching issue if the device switches between towers.

He’s got no plan B when the server plays up, no idea how to use an android device v iphone etc.

He f**kcked my McModem too.

Widdop and Vaughan haven’t helped much either. Commbank went down when Vaughan hurt his other foot. Checked my ubet account after Widdop got hurt against Parra and it wasn’t pretty.

My Wi-Fi’s been shit since the last storm game actually. That has to be Aitken’s fault. Dufty can’t hide here either, I’ve only had two bars on my phone since he scored his last try.

I reckon it’s probably Lafai and Latimore that need to sms telstra here, maybe Graham’s missus could call the help desk in Bombay?

My biggest concern is - how the f**kc did Milward not recruit an IT utility?

No idea GA67 but one of my post that you ‘liked’ a week ago had just come up again as a new ‘like’ alert.

Must be those bloooooody bullgrub fans tinkering with our forum.

No I do not Dragonslayer , have seen enough commercials on television of late about them , may need to invest in one - thank you.

No only the one , which is Vodafone , my device is through Optus . But the most confusing aspect of the hic-up is it only occurs on this Forum . I have only just realized that when I do log onto the forum a sign appears which reads - this website is not secured ?

Not being in the computer generation I am most times rather confused by the terminology used when speaking about iOS devices and computers etc.

As I said in the previous post , on my iPad address bar , a sign will sometimes appear as - This Website is Not Secured - which is written in red .

I fully understand the meaning of the notation , however I assumed that it had something to do with the way the forum was set up - in other words it is open to all comers and not one sole individual or company , and therefore rendering the site not secured .
