Television Coverage of Les Cats

Over the last 2 seasons Sport+ have broadcasted the game however I've read on a French forum (See below), which states that Sport+ haven't been signed up to screen the 2008 season yet.

TV Channels (Which are available on Digital Terrestrial Television) including Direct8 and W9 have been mooted to be interested but who looks more likely to pick up the rights for the upcoming season and which will be more beneficial to French RL overall?

I know that Direct8 and W9 aren't sport specific channels like Sport+ but they are available on a much wider platform on DTT (Freeview for us Brits, not sure what you Aussies have in comparison).

Yes indeed there is personnal link between french fédération president and President of Direct 8 channel....I think that it's one of the answer of this new strategy !
