a week without loosing and 2 valuable points, but what makes this season so sad is that there is no excuse every game we have lost we should have won we faced these sides like the panthers dragons warriors sharks and broncos at the right time to win and let some of these games slip i honestly believe if the 2003 or 2002 were playing this year that we would be at the top of the table so whats the problem not defence i think our defence isnt that bad and is heaps better compared to last year its our inability to score points which is hurting us which comes back to the halves and namely the 5/8 daniel wagon i dont care how bad witt or thorman r playing but anything must be better than wags at 5/8.

At times we have had extremely solid defence, an example is against Roosters. They werent exaclty firing but we gave them a run for their money. I think at times both aspects of attack and defemnce have been hot and cold. Players form and each firing at seperate times of the season have caused this. The two lock strategy shouldnt have been changed. As soon as it was our slump started. We relyed on defence and the skills of dykes to score us points and it did work. However injury has just decimated our roster and i think next year will be similiar. It may be that Smith is pushing our squad to hard as 90% of injuries have occured during training. We have missed vital players. Smith must go becuase atm we have shown no signs of improving. 1 more shot he deserves. Because seeing as he has lured these players he has the right to use gthem in his own ways. Very intresting to see how we go. I think we were looking very strong during the 3 trial series but injury just heckled any chance of fielding the same squad more than one week in a row. If we do not reach the finals next year i think he will go.

Smith definitely DOESN'T deserve one more shot. PARRAMATTA deserve the break - and the board need to give them one by injecting a fresh coaching staff into the club. SMithy has been there so long that Altzheimers is starting to set in!
