The thing is you don't throw the baby out with the bath water. So he's got the yips. He won't get over them by quitting or by being sacked and when he's on his kicking is a major asset.

The reverse thinking is that if he didn't play and score a hatrick we wouldn't of won either.

Covell is kicking at around 62% this year vs career average of 76%. 62% is a back up kicker standard. His kicking has been ordinary all year. He seems to be missing everything to the left. This would indicate a technical fault that can be corrected. He would want to do this quickly as goalkicking is a key part of his offer as a player. If he is not kicking then his worth diminishes and he is out of contract. Time to get it done Cov.
