Geez, i dont think Api played that bad considering he had limited minutes and hasn't played in the side before.

Wighton and Moses were the biggest issues as they were meant to be steering the team around the park.
Turbo and Lattrell had limited ball and when they got it, there was no room to wind up. Fox and To'o didnt see much ball either, kick returns and dummy half runs was about it. Chalk and cheese vs games 1 and 2.

This then made Tedesco overplay his role, tried to create something on his own every time he touched the ball but ended up crabbing across the field most the time and killing momentum.

I agree about the misplaced loyalty though, and Freddys attitude was more about rewarding blokes vs going for the jugular.
I mean, QLD were happy to ring Alfie in 2001 and bring him back from the UK to ensure a series win.
Freddys attitude should have been to pick the best available players to win the game.

Anyway, he gets paid the big bucks. I'm just some merkin on a forum.

No flogs in Origin, just the best 34 players on the planet.

The NSW spine was absolute balls - all of them. Cook should have been hooked after 15 mins - couldn't hit anyone on the chest and had a shocker - almost as bad as his games last series. The halves - did anyone expect anything different? Tedesco - won't pass the f**king ball.

We got what we deserved.

But Api was the least of our worries and should he stay fit and be playing well in 2022 - will go close to replacing Cook.
