To everybody that has found it within themselves to pick out the positives of this year, and yesterdays game after the devastating circumstances we lost the game today. I for one am not as strong as some of you, i wear my heart on my sleeve and take things pretty roughly (not trying to say that some of you don't wear your heart on your sleeves).

Thankyou to the real supporters of this great club. Reading through some of your tributes to the players, those who have had good seasons and those who are leaving has somehow eased the pain.

Thankyou for those of you have posted a positive outlook for the year 2007 with our coach and roster restructuring. Thankyou to JT for pulling us from 14th to 9 consecutive wins all the way up to 8th position. Your work here will not be forgotten and many of us wish you were here with us in 2007.

Thankyou to players like O'Dwyer, Delaney, Burt and Wagon who are not first choice players, but grabbed the opportunities presented to them with two hands on our strong run home and ran with it all the way to the semis this year, especially O'Dwyer and Delaney who will not be here with us next year, yet still showed a passion for the club and gave it their all.

Supporting this club was born into me by my father, and has caused me personally a great deal of pain and a great deal of happiness. We haven't captured that premiership trophey yet but i'll never stop supporting this club as long as i live. Thankyou Parramatta for giving us, the fans this roller-coaster ride.

Last of all, a big f*ck you to those "supporters" who have come out today and bashed the team, you know exactly who you are. Your the kind of person that got their head flushed down the toilet everyday at school, but the difference is here you continually come back for more. Please depart these forums as of now. The rest of us loyal supporters have little or no respect for you, or your opinion. We hate reading through your negitave comments and threats to the administration, coaching staff and players of this fine organisation. We intensly dislike you, and wish that you did not "support" the Eels, so why stay in a place your not wanted? Please make like Brian and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Well said Perrymatta.

The players and coaching staff have a lot be proud of in the last 12 weeks. A heck of a lot. This includes yesterdays effort against a the runaway minor premiers, playing at their home ground.

There was a great deal of admiration for the performance of our boys yesterday expressed by non-Parramatta/Melbourne fans in the NRL forums.

That is a good measure of how we playing - not the vitriolic and petulant jibberish some of the so-called "supporters" have dished up in some of the other threads.

Perrymatta, best post I've read in quite a while...

Apart from Parra Guru's effort here: http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showthread.php?t=153045

beautifully said and don't worry about the knockers they won't be here for too much longer as they'll be too busy having sex with Germaine Greer.

Just got back from Melbourne... I must say i was shattered, but i was so proud of the boys for sticking it to the minor premiers and only losing by six.

As far as the bandwagoners go perry, you should see them in Melbourne :p Half of the crowd had absolutley no idea...i almost got beaten up for politely correcting some melbourne fan because he had no idea about some rule...

The fact that i got to travel to Melbourne to watch the Eels play in a finals game this year exceeded my expectations, considering i didn't think we'd even make the finals ten weeks ago. Congrats on a great season turnaround boys and don't worry, the real Eels fans still love ya :p

I bag them after every finals lose because they always choke or dont live up to expectations although finishing in the top 8 was over achieving because of the start of the year we still choked and certain parts of the match.

Needless to say i still support them i go to their matches when they win and loss, all home games and majority of away games. I think they need to get bagged from time to time but also praised. Hayne, Burt, Hindmarsh and Cordoba had great seasons but John Morris and Tim Smith are sh*t. To be realistic.

I think there is a difference between losing and choking.

It's not as if the effort wasn't there. They made numerous line breaks but the finishing wasn't there. They aren't really doing anything different to what they have been when they won nine in a row. They just don't seem to be finding the right end to a set.

Just because you go to games, doesn't mean you should be able to bag them. They tried their best but were outplayed by the minor (and maybe 2006) premiers. John Morris has been a major reason why our season turned around. He was playing great, but three losses and he's sh*t??? Tim Smith is returning from a broken collar bone. When he got injured he was outclassing Johns all over the park. Give it some time.

Alright i took your opinion into account and respected it until TIM SMITH OUTCLASSED JOHNS ALL OVER THE PARK BEFORE HE WAS INJURED? far out man get off the juice, Johns has taught him a lesson nearly ever time even when we smashed Knights 42-12 this year Tim Smith went off in the 2nd half and thats when we kicked on.

Tim Smith is sh*t he will always be sh*t. He was sh*t at the start of the year before hes injury, hes a arrogant little sh*t. Who yells and blames team mates when he drops the ball. Wow i used sh*t alot.

Jump off the bandwagon mate...Tim Smith was OUTCLASSING Johns...Watch the first half of that game. I have no doubt he would have continued on in the second half had he not gotten injured.

I think you mistake arrogance for frustration. How would you be if your in a bar drinking water, and just because some random member of the public gets ejected your made out to be an alcoholic. Its people like you that will make him not want to associate with fans.

Smith scored his own try off his own kick. He put a player over with a spectacular cut out pass and numerous great attacking kicks. Johns did nothing. To me, that is outclassing

How am i on a bandwagon. Sick bandwagon, go to all home games since 2000. Wow i only come along when we win. Tim Smith has the worst running game in the NRL, ive seen him beat two tackles in two years. On ya Timmy!

If you wanna rap the players in plastic and preserve them you can. Yeah what a great world it would be. Every fan when we lose "great effort boys". Real successful culture we would have.

Well funny that, notice how they go well when they are confident and positive.

Do you think bagging them after every loss is going to boost their confidence?

I dont bag them after every loss mate, you didnt see me in here bagging them after Broncos and Cowboys game. Its because im a passionate supporter that im sick of losing finals, its not a good feeling as im sure you know. Changing to the team has to happen. See you may see me as negative but its called being realistic. I will praise many players if you like but you wanna labell me under your little catergory because i think Tim Smith and John Morris are sh*t, two players in the whole team. Whoopie do dar. Every Eels fan i have talked to say Tim Smith is sh*t.
