First post on the forum - my point has been coming a while so finally registered after the 'performance' at the Knights. We were well off the boil at least 15 minutes before the rain yesterday - so that's no excuse at all. I think Broncos are getting complacent defensively. Look at the defensive coaches comments in the Week 7 Big League about the second half lapses - and look at the number of missed tackles yesterday and a pattern is emerging. We need to address the defensive weaknesses we have or we won't be sitting well in the ladder too much longer. The Sea Eagles will be well up for it next Sunday make no mistake. Time to man up.

One game, nothing to be too worried about. I didn't have high expectations for this year but we are 6 and 2 and in most games have been the better side, nothing to worry about. No team can go through a season and not play bad games.

In: Yeo Yeo, Taylor, Setu, Marsh.

Team

1. Hunt
2. Winderstein
3. Folau
4. Hodges
5. Yeo Yeo
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace
8. Kenny
9. Gorrell (gosh we looked better with him at 9)- GOALKICKER!
10. Clinton
11. Setu
12. Thaiday
13. Parker

14. Marsh
15. Taylor

Your deadset awful. Half the blokes youve mentioned dont even play for the Broncos. I mean who the hell is Walapu and McDonnel? and Yeo Yeo?? WTF

Seriously, why bother making comments on players when you dont even know their names properly.

There is a difference between blooding and being stupid, playing Walpu is being stupid, playing McCoullough is being stupid as well at this point. Neither of our dummy halves have been adequate, Gorrell has a detter defensive game though. PJ adds some spark, yet we don't play him...

There's an old saying that prompts me to sign off now: Never argue with fools. They drag you down to your level and then beat you with experience

that was the worst performance from a Broncos team I have seen in a long time but I don't believe it calls for big changes just yet. I do believe Taylor needs to be in the team Ahead of either Wapau or Maguire but the others deserve a chance to redeem. I think McCullough works better coming of the bench ATM because his dummy half running around tired fowards is good and gains plenty of meters and when he starts he goes missing at times when fatigued

This is the only game I've missed so far this season. WTF happened? Who was particularly bad? And who played ok?

In general, I think the Broncos will struggle in the wet this season. It nullifies our backs and becomes a forward battle. Although the forward pack has done better than most expected, they are still not first class. I mean our two best props, Kenny and Clinton, would hardly strike fear into the opposition.

I see people have been calling for Wapau's head the last couple of weeks. I thought he would have made a big impact, although still early days for him I hope.

I really hope we bounce back against Manly, but they are going to be SO desperate for a win :(.

It was bad, but nothing worth slitting wrists about. The team was outplayed by a very fine Knights team. Lockyno1....go and piss off to LA or wherever you are meant to be

I think it's McCollough or however you spell it. Either way Gorrell should be starting, I don't think McCollough is up to first grade week in week out, he doesn't know how to handle opposition teams who constantly slow up the play the ball.
