That Trip

I watched last nights game and didnt get a good look at the alleged trip by Stevens near the end of the game. It happened so quickly I wasnt sure if it was Bosnich or Stevens that got nailed for it. Then again it could have been the tears or the Tooheys that clouded my eyesight.

Did anyone get a good look at it and how bad was it really?

It was deliberate, he was beaten and stuck his foot out. Reflex and no harm done at all. BUT if he gets 3 weeks for it, it makes a mockery of the swinging arm to the head tackles that got 1-2 weeks last year, or nothing at all...

But I dont see why tripping is looked down upon in a similar manner to biting
It's basically harmless

Why the stigma around tripping?
