First we get the blunt end in the Souths drama.
Next comes the Bronco drama .
And here we go again .

I cannot recall another instance where the judiciary has given a player two weeks to come up with his case .
Every body at the ground who seen the incident knows Williams only had malice and his act was cowardly .

If Williams gets a slap on the wrist for his act of cowardness , it will prove the lNRL has a hidden agenda against the Tigers .

If that does occur they can stick rugby league up there assholes , because i have had enough of the bias against our side .

The NRL ajourned the case so williams could gather evidence regarding amnesia .
To me it looks like they will do their hardest to help him get off, just like the video ref does when we score a try .
It usually takes ten grabs before its awarded , kinda like they are looking for a reason to disallow it .

Now if Williams was dazed and in a traumatised state ,why is it he brushed past Skando to hit Mark Oneill.

Danny's stay of execution
By Brent Read and Laine Clark
July 21, 2004

DANNY Williams' career was sensationally put on ice for two weeks tonight after the Melbourne Storm provided evidence the forward enforcer was suffering "post-traumatic amnesia" when he knocked out Wests Tigers opponent Mark O'Neill at the weekend.

Williams pleaded guilty to an ungraded striking charge but Storm officials threw a spanner in the works when they called former South Sydney captain and Australian Rugby League doctor Nathan Gibbs to give evidence.

Gibbs testified Williams may have been suffering from post-traumatic amnesia, resulting from an earlier O'Neill tackle, when he threw the punch that knocked out the Tigers forward in the 64th minute of Saturday night's game at Leichhardt Stadium.

Chairman Greg Woods asked the panel - Ian Roberts, Bob Lindner and Darrell Williams - whether they would like more information on the medical evidence and - after a short adjournment - they said yes.
Williams was given a two-week stay of execution by Woods but will remain on the sidelines, with the chairman declining a request for the 30-year-old to be allowed to play until the resumption of his case.

"We're disillusioned," was all Storm CEO Frank Stanton said as he left NRL headquarters.

Williams declined to comment.

"I'm prepared to take the risk of an injustice against your player Mr Stanton," Woods said.

"I don't think it's a grave risk. If it happens...and he is exonerated then he will be in the same position as another 50 players each week who twist their ankle."

I heard on radio New Zealand this morning that Williams’ case was adjourned and that in Williams defence he was suffering from “Post Traumatic Amnesia”.

The Radio announcer was laughing when he read this out.

Next time I get caught for speeding I am going to plead innocent because I was suffering from "Post Traumatic Amnesia".

This is one of the most original excuses I have heard and I have been around a long time.

I think Bucketts has to be there. He was the victim after all.

When I said 'our side'...i meant the NRL judiciary, which sort of is our side, as our player is the 'victim'.
Seeing as Williams(perp),Melbourne storm are the defense.

Geez you go off half cocked sometimes. I thought you weren't going for WT anymore anyway. But as has been pointed out to you, the NRL has given the JUDICIARY PANEL 2 weeks to find their OWN evidence which may in fact nail Williams, and not let him off. Either way, Williams will be suspended for a minimum of 2 weeks, but highly likely will be a lot more.
