Bellamy - 1st NRL head coach job
Fittler - 1st NRL head coach job
Folkes - 1st NRL head coach job
Brown - 1st NRL head coach job
Hasler - 1st NRL head coach job
Cleary - 1st NRL head coach job
Cartwright - 1st NRL head coach job
Henry - 1st NRL head coach job
Taylor - 1st NRL head coach job
Stuart -2nd NRL head coach job (won comp in first appointment)
Hagan - 2nd NRL head coach job (won comp in first appointment)
Smith - journeyman coach
Bennett - journeyman coach
Shines - journeyman coach
Murray - journeyman coach
Elliott - 2nd NRL head coach job

It is now obviously a new and young coach's game. Shines is past it. A relic and a dinosaur who has dined out on 16 good weeks since 1996. When his record is scrutinised, his coaching in the modern era is pathetic at best.

I've been saying for a long time we should have gone after Lam, Fairleigh, Dymock etc but our esteemed CEO re-signs Mr 38% and the penriff gnome who got penriff a wooden spoon in his only (and less than successful) first grade appointment

His winning percentage is dropping faster than the weight percentage on the biggest loser.

Shines has employed the biggest loser to do interchanges
Or maybe royce is sabotaging us so he can have another crack at first grade and prove he could `outcoach them all'
He could probably outcoach a primary school teacher, a NASA test monkey and Craig coleman ... actually i'm not too sure about the last one

Whats most annoying for me is the fact a coach as green as jason taylor can publicly come out and say "hey its my fault i stuffed up" im being negative etc, and take a hit for the teams sake, but sheens will always take the stubborn approach and let his ego overide the teams best interest.

I`d like to know what leaving an interchange player on the bench for 75 minutes achieves, particularly when the forwards ar noticeably running on empty ???

Be fair dinkum, we could have had Lote Tuquiri or Greg Inglis playing on the wing instead of Shannon and we still would not have won the game.

Rubbish ... Lote or Inglis would have made some effective hit ups and runs
When are you going to acknowledge this clown is not up to it

He`s 80kgs ringing wet, how can you expect him to do an effective hit up ??? Do you see any of the other small wingers in the comp doing effective hit ups ??? The likes of Ben Jeffery, Nathan Merritt, Steve Turner, Reece Robinson etc, do you see them doing effective hit ups ??? They don`t need to because with Jeffery, Turner, Robinson etc they have their forwards doing their job. McDonnell`s game is based on his speed and being an opportunist. I admit he has been backing up as he should be, but first game back from an injury lay off, I don`t know how you can honestly point the finger his way in any shape or form for todays loss ???

Vicious, I think the point MOTH is making is that he shouldn't be playing in the first place.

What does he offer over Ryan? Why was Ryan dropped?

Even if Ryan hadn't won the game by himself, if he was there, or had any more opportunity to attack... we certainly could have profited from his defence.

I just think you are barking up the wrong tree. I don`t mind Beau Ryan as he wears his heart on his sleeve and isn`t afraid to put his body on the line. He`s a fair bit bigger than Junior and obviously is a much better defender. Beau also goes ok under the high ball, but I didn`t see Junior dropping any today either. The sole reason Junior would be selected in fornt of players such as Beau Ryan is his pace as he`s much more likely to run the length of the field if in the unlikely event that we made a line break than others such as Ryan who isn`t known for his blistering speed.
Because of the fact that we are constantly struggling to work off our own line and the fact that our de3fence looks brittle so often, I would agree that we need to play bigger wingers such as Tuiaki and possibly Lawrence moving out to the wing to make way for Halatau or including Peni Tagive.
My point is, I find it ludacris to blame McDonnell for todays loss, Beau Ryan could have played identical to how McDonnell did and nothing would be mentioned.

HE
CONTRIBUTES
NOTHING
What is it mcdonnell does ... ryan did nothing to warrant being dropped and puts his body on the line. Junior is a timid, stumbling, cat there because of his dad

Answer this. Imagine it was Beau Ryan or Nick Youngquest who was playing in Shannon McDonnell`s body today. Would you be on here tonight blowing up at the way they played and blaming them for us getting beat ???

What did Ryan do that warranted him being dropped ?
Is Ryan's win ratio 1 in 8 (12.5%)
Is Ryan's Dad recruitment manager
Were others let go to give this clown a rails run ?

No one is saying Beau Ryan deserved to be dropped, but your missing the point. You just love to bag McDonnell no matter what happens. If it was Beau Ryan or Nick Youngquest who played identical to how McDonnell played today, you wouldn`t even be mentioning them !!!

No vish ... there is one rule for every other 3/4 and one rule for ronald's son and it utterly stinks. If he'd shown a modicum of form i could cop it but he's a lightweight, midget, bumbling fool
