It happened last year and the loser of 'A' actually went on to win 'C' and then the GF. It seems to work and does give those that finish 1 & 2 a second bite of the cherry.

Its copied from the old NSWRL semi-final system Furry when there 10 and 12 teams.
With 9 teams in the F7s, it makes sense and as BP said, its the same as we had last year.

btw, those dates are the kick off dates (Sundays). Full time is the Wednesday week afterwards.
eg Round 1 runs from 14th March - 24th March.
This will all be revealed on the website which will announced soon.
