i am a wholemeal bread man as a general rule ... but when it comes to chip rolls (or sandwiches), white bread is the only option

marg or butter is the only flexibility

I am a bit more Art Deco with my chip rolls. I reckon the only way to eat them is to deep fry them, stick them in a pie and then wrap a kebab around them.

I'm not that fussed with pop 'music' but I will listen to everything from Jazz, Blues, James Brown, some Motown (esp when James Jamerson is the bass player) to Infectious Grooves, Suicidal Tendencies, the Hard Ons, Massappeal, Dead Kennedys, Midnight Oil, Cat Empire, Sting and Hoodoo Gurus and many, many more.

Jazz is just an outlet for people with spare augmented and diminished chords, and blokes called Benny, Duke, and Glenn.

I do like everything from Dead Kennedy's onwards in your list. And I guess I do own about 75 jazz records, but they're all crap (which is Japanese for 'carp').

I'll be watching these guys at Soundwave

That looks my old band Catastrophic Haemorrhage. Only we didn't quite have the same wardrobe budget:

Haha, depends on the jazz I reckon. Although diminished chords are particularly important in jazz, symmetrical dissonance and all that.
