Its a game of thrones day for me just about to start season 2 I'm addicted
i'm considering buying a new tv .... plasma or LED? .... I wanna be able to watch the footy without it looking shit ... that is my main criteria - lol ... 3D and internet and that shit is of little interest ... I probably would be looking at something under 50" for the spot it will go - anything bigger might be too big
I believe plasmas are still considered better for sports - but also read they glare a bit and seems they are only 50"+
LEDs - are these better for sports now? have they improved the quality of fast moving motion on these?
anyone recommend any brands? I have always had panasonic TVs - they seem good
I have both plasma and LCD. The plasma is great but the glare is a bastard.
If you get a LCD just look out for the MHz or the speed or whatever it's called.
What's best for a sunroom - lots of light and glare.
If you are after a good TV this one is not too bad. I've recently upgraded but I have still kept this one in the shed.

Yes it's the CPU speed that you pay for these days. Mine is LED and it's superb in all respects. So good that I'm finding it hard to watch SD channels on foxtel or FTA.
Which brings me to another gripe - you pay extra for a HD box with foxtel, yet there are only 6 or so HD movies available on box office.
