I don't think anyone stayed up to watch it. I know I went to bed at the 20 min time and he hadn't been put on at that stage.

I wish ch 7 would replay all the games at a decent time, not just the Aussie or bigger games. Would love to see all of them, but sadly due to the time diff, I will be lucky to see half.

Get a PVR, that is how I am doing it.

That depends where you are located. Fox do not rebroadcast 7 Mate to all of their subscribers. If you are Sydney....you only need an IQ2. If you live in regional areas covered by Foxtel (not Austar) you'll need some other device.

I'm in Sydney but because Foxtel did not bother to lay cable in my brand new suburb, I'm stuck with satellite and they do not rebroadcast 7mate or GEM even though I have iQ2 and the HD package......

So cable iq2 is the requirement, satellite needs the extra thing ...

I'm in Brisbane and same

Worst is they provisioned me for cable, sent me 2 cable modems only to apologise for the cable ending up the top of the street

4 weeks of pointless trouble shooting later :(

So if you need iq2 most of the blokes who come on here from the other site won't qualify?

If you ask maroubra nicely, he'd be more than happy to lay you a cable.

Aldi are selling set top box with PVR function for $34.99 for those on a budget.

You only need a PVR if you wish to record, anyone with a digital tv signal can watch the World Cup.

I'd assume everyone has digital nowadays?

I have foxtel iq but just the SD version so I watch and record on my PVR.

Up until now my PVR has been gathering dust.

Spend the dollars and get a Panasonic PVR. Those cheap brands have terrible firmware. They do the job, but are not user friendly at all.

Or get a Topfield...one of the non-Freeview ones (2400 / 2460) so that you can skip ads at a click. My Toppy beats the crap out my Panasonics.

Cheers mate. The English pack must have defended well.

The English pack defended (and attacked) very, very well. George Burgess had an amazing match. Sam Burgess helped to keep Inglis out of the game. James Roby was good at hooker, eventually replaced by the half-back, Sinfield when Widdop came on at five-eight and Rangi Chase (who had a really good game at 6) moved to 7. Their forward pack was great, and they've still got James Graham to come back. I can see them being very much up to beating New Zealand. Should be a great game.

Lets not forget in assessing Mossop's performance is that the Kanagroo forward pack is the best in world. No ifs no buts. I didn't see a dominate performance from Mossop but I didn't see one from any of the Burgess boys either, who dominate in the NRL week in week out.

I saw a guy who didn't look out of place at that level, didn't look dominate but didn't look out of place. Which I think is a good sign for us.

I don't necessarily agree. George Burgess, Sam Burgess, James Graham, I think, would walk into the Australian pack. Cameron Smith is elite, but James Roby is very good, too. Tom Burgess has a lot of improvement in him.
