I don't think there is. I'm pretty sure the golden boot mainly takes into account how a player performs in international games though, but as we know $BW got that.

What a freak Hayne is. He is one of the best players in the world.
Inglis went missing, Hayne stood up in the big game.

Hayne is a freak at centre, him and Hoppa should be in the centres for us,put that Norman guy at Fullback
you mean that Norman guy that left the broncos because he wanted the opportunity to play pivot but was moved to fb?

I doubt he'll be playing fullback.

Haynes best position is fullback. If he played fullback this morning he could have done even more.
This will give him the world of confidence for next year, and at fullback he can get his hands on the ball a couple of times a set which is only a good thing for us next year

Loved the game and marvelled at the skills the players produced.
Was very nervous watching players like Morris ans Manu Vatuvai sliding into the unprotected gutters at the back of the dangerous in goal areas..
Not one bad player. Gonna be interesting to see if Hayne and Hoppa are the centres with Sio/Hunt fullback,
I think the Eels have a good squad for 2014 season...

Just a hypothetical , does anyone think that if Hoppa hadn't gone on his two year mission that he would have been in that side this morning?
And will he be good enough to force his way back into the State and ultimately Test sides next season?

Great game from Hayne, every match he played he went well. He'll still be our fullback I hope. Was funny watching him celebrate with Slater and Cronk after their history. I wonder how they get on in camp.

Hayne was terrific for the entire World Cup. He looked good at right centre but doubt that the position would work for him for the Eels. He had Cronk, Thaiday and a roving Thurston feeding him quality ball all game, a luxury he won't get at the Eels.

A roving commission at fullback is his best position for us where he can inject himself left or right.

I think Ivan Cleary deserves the credit for this morning's performance.

How f**ken good is Tim Sheens!!!
