Our squad needs filling.But not a major overhaul.
If Moses signs we have our 1 2,5,6,7 sorted.

2020 id imagine Kafusi,Salmon go from top 21 players to top 17 so there is 2 spots filled. Stefano & Stone may also make the jump along with Parry. That is potential for 5 spots gone.

If we can land DWZ as a right centre and re-sign Moses and Jennings I think our 1-7 is fine.

I have to admit I haven't really looked into the whole lodge thing. Anything outside of the eels doesn't interest me as much.

If he did sign with the Club you'd wanna see a firm commitment to paying back the victim, community work etc

We can't do another Hayne/Evans off-season. Must add a few new faces most years.

Heard on tripple M yesterday we are going hard for Matt lodge.

He's a quality player. Better defender than Pangai too.

Hopefully Alvaro is not re-signed and Mannah only as 18th man. Is Tevita Tatola South's current front rower? If so worth a try and more consistent than TPJ who would still be good but not confident BA could bring the best out of him.

Buying some blokes with some bloody ticker would be a good way to go. Look at Gower the other night, a heap of players in our squad are better players than him but he gets by by having a red hot crack every time he pulls on the jersey. If someone like Evans did that he would be a fantastic player. Christian Welch fits the bill imo.

I would send Gutherson, Moses and maybe Junior Paulo to leadership school somewhere. Didnt Cronk do a course at Harvard. Send these guys to do the same. And enrol them in Toastmasters. There should be a toastmasters club at the Leagues club but that would involve finding a room without pocker machines in it.

These are the only names worth chasing, including Christian Welch.

We desperately need forwards, if we get DWZ(Is that happening or) and keep Moses and Jennings our backline is quite dynamic if you ask me.

We lack forward leaders, Brown is back soon so that helps but I reckon we could do with about 3 new good forwards, we are so short in that area. The only ones I would keep honestly are Brown, Marata, Lane, Paulo, Mahoney and either one of Moeroa or Mau'u. We need a serious revamp in the pack as far as I'm concerned.

TPJ and Welch would be a start, but I still think we need an elite week in week out quality forward.

Looking at players off contract, also look at who is off contract in 2020, players do leave early.
