could be shaping up that way

will need to win everything bar the roosters and hope the cowboys drop 2

by the finals we may have a full squad and be competitave

what kimmorley could have done with 5 repeat sets of 6 on the broncos line

i wish i was as an optimist like yourself millers. I can see us beating parra, melb and the bye. I can even see us beating the roosters and the cowboys, but the pressure on the sharks is alot. Granted they looked gone after 10 minutes last night but did well to come back. However, a loss like last night compounded on the losses over the past fortnight is draining.

I would have been happy with the 1 point, however i was happy with the 2 points against the eels earlier on in the season. The most to porfit out of the golden pointis the cowboys who got 1 point agianst souths and certs for the 8.

The guye we are in a fight for the top 8 all have a few hard games coming up as well so hope isn't lost.

However we must beat the Storm, NQ and Parra.

Our task has just become a hell of alot harder, especially with the Cowboys winning. But hey, rather them than the Goons even if it does mean we miss out.

Well we've got the Raiders and the Tigers to jump ahead of, which we should do.
I think us and the Cowboys will battle it out for 7th and 8th

The Knights could be a spanner in the works though.

I have just become a Sea Eagles and Rabbits supporter! ( Couldn't bring myself to say Manly  )

Seems to me that we not only need to win our games but we need Eagles and Rabbits to win theirs as they play every team that is hovering around us and with our for and against we could miss out even if we end up on the same points as Raiders, knights, tigers!!

Being realistic, we're only one point behind the Cows becuase of the bye...

If we win every game from now we'll make the semis...

Lets see.

Dont like this conceeding to the Roosters, guys note that making the 8, is important but winning the comp is all the counts and the Roosters are in the finals we must beat them then so next week is great chance for the pyscholgical advantage over them

I agree mcsharkie, although either way, last round at townsville is shaping as a cracker !

So is the last home game at home. Now where else would a home game be played, Popper? :?:

Hate to say I told us all so...

But I did!

I've been preaching about a 'showdown for the 8' with either the Cowboys, Knights or Raiders for ages.

Could get ugly.

I saw Kimmorley arrive at the ground 5.15pm
I thought he would've arrived earlier to give the guys a rev up and Kent and Bird some last minute advice before the game if need be. :?

Anyway I can tell you now he was pushing his kid in the stroller rather gingerly still and I don't expect him back soon at all.

I can't see the team stringing these wins together unless he's on deck.
Our for and against is abyssmal and this is like another 2 points the other sides equal have on us.

If by some luck we fell in the eight with all hands on deck we certainly could be a danger side to the more favoured. After all we've been in every game of late but because we've been without B.K we've just lacked options in attack and general direction to put the opposition under the hammer to grind out the win.

we need noddy back but we need him fit because... we need him. throw him into this team the way they're playing now and we'll be a tougher prospect than people are giving us credit for.

we can beat the chooks next week but it will be difficult. we'll need to be switched on the full 80 minutes from whistle to whistle. the guys have shown they have what it takes to compete with the best and would have won with kimmorley in the team. as long as they aim up i think we're a good chance to spring an upset and then the momentum is back with us and out destiny is in our own hands.

not too sure about taking it all the way this year with out wide defensive liabilities but we can certainly build a good platform for next season.
