The Bench

Does anyone else think that we hav a serious problem with our bench? There is some quality players there but something is just not right....any ideas??

Too many workers in our forward pack...not enough impact.

If Waterhouse was a second rower....we'd have that...

But only Pritchard and Waterhouse are our impact players atm...the rest are workers.

Our success in 2003 and 2004 was bulit around our forward pack who on there day have been the equal of any forward pack in the competition.

Regardless of how our forwards perform during 2006 I fear the lack of quality in our outside backs makes it difficult to seriously challenge for the premiership this season. Wesser and Lewis aside we don't have the backs capable of posing a serious threat to opposition defences.

Things have gone pearshaped since the Parra win and injuries have certainly contributed. I'm still optimistic if we can grind out a win against the Sharks and pick up two points against the Bunnies in two weeks we will be in a pretty good position sitting on 12 points. Get all our absentees fit again, back on the paddock and who knows.
