The Black Hole seating area is marked out on the Panthers website. Is it where choc solider, Philby and all those guys and girls sit at the game? I didn't know if I can join you there.
What bay is it? Is it just season ticket holders seating? Do I need to buy a ticket in advance? And is it cool if I sit with you, too? I'm up for some screaming and singing!

And what bay is the one thats down the front of the Eastern stand on the 50m line? The one thats always empty.

Thanks to anyone who answers some, all or any of these questions ;-)

It's bay 7 and anyone is free to sit there. It's part of the general admission area and it is where Philby and co sit. I'm sure they would welcome you with open arms if you wanted to sit there though you may have to get there pretty early to get a seat.

Bay 5 is the empty one.

You're welcome :)

It is where myself and Phil (The Den) sits. You are more than welcome to join us there! It is Bay 7, which is general admission. You don't need to buy a ticket in advance, but it does pay to get there early (say by half time in the Toyota Cup), as we are a growing group, and seem to be getting new members each week!

I will PM you Phil's number, so you can contact him yourself if you want a seat reserved, etc.

The empty seats (Bays 4-6) were made reserved in 2005, in the club's infinite wisdom (insert sarcasm here). Bay 5 is where the Beersquad (a former version of The Den back in 2003-04) sat. We (by this time we were now named Penriff's Army) tried to stay there, but bit the bullet mid-2006, because it was inhibiting our growth - we actually lost numbers in that time, due to cost mostly. Not sure what the exact reason was for the change in classification to be honest, but it definitely is not a good look on the TV - at the Roosters match a couple of weeks back, everywhere but that area appeared to be packed.

Thanks guys. :thumn

Thanks Roo, sounds great. I usually come down to the games with my Dad and he wants to join me at the Eels game. I'll see how keen he is to sit with The Den, but Id love to be apart of it. We get there to see most of the lower grade games so Id say we'll be there in time to grab a spot.

Do you guys all wear a certain jersey together, like the home one, to make it look a real "black out" or is whatever cool? :)

Whatever you like. The idea is to wear black, but I personally wear my 1967 replica. A few of us wear the away jerseys as well (current and the teal one a few years back). In short, you can wear what you like - as long as it's a Panthers jersey. :)

The bay is bay 7 it is general admission but you need to get there early as seats go quick. If you go there ask for philby he is the organiser of the supporter group called the den.All penrith supporters are welcome to join. The area you talked about being vacant is a reserved area but tickets can be bought for that area in advance from the club or at the ground. But again our next home game is against the eels i expect it to be a sell out crowd get in early

I thought this was a thread about a footy trip I took to Moree when I was a young bloke. Boy oh boy I had a lot to drink that night. Chewed my own arm off in the morning.
