Why do we need this? We were perfectly fine without it, well a large emphasis on it, however Stephen hagan thought it was the reason why we were so dismal before we arrived lol

A large emphasis on structure us not what wins you games, it's talent, recruitment and coaching, good sides find says of winning, structure is just another buzz word to sound intelligent abd you may Bo some shit.

Here's a tip Stephen - just emphasis offloads, throw the ball to key players, and play with enthusiasim you will win games- that's the blue print of d Anderson, that's what got us to a gf with a lesser side.

f**k structure, you play to win not to protect the lead mentality

Yes, nicely put. Recruit a mob of gifted ad lib individuals and force them to play structured??? No brainier the solution really.

Agreed 100 percent.

Sandow, Roberts and hayne are all instinctive players. They are not able to play to SK plans.

SK structured play is a myth. It just won't work with the players he's brought in.

Here's a tip: how about we get some structure in defense???

Or have more than one set attacking play (that every defence knows off by heart)?

and yeah non structure got us to how many top 4 finishes since 2005?

Anderson got us to one grand final with 8 weeks on bloody amazing footy but the following year gee we were sh*t

Not saying we don't need to change our style of play a little but playing the "full on" non structure is not the answer either.

it wasn't even offloads that did it for us in 2009 .... it was our defence and team spirit - we have totally lost that

It done more for us without it, structure is just crap, sure we need some obviously but totally revamping a side due to implementing a structure is obviously a far less option according to results

I win

The Cowboys didn't mind offloading tonight...it seemed to work pretty well for them (even with the horrendous conditions). It was a pretty good example of selective but effective second phase play.

Still it is hard to complain about our team not offloading when they can't even make simple one-on-one tackles or even hold onto the ball. Those are some pretty f**king fundamental aspects of the game.

The whole first grade squad (coach and players) need to take a long, hard look at themselves where as others like Burt and McGuire simply need to be moved on.

More offloads would have definitely improved our ball control tonight.

Is simplic working? Nope, is one off hit ups creating fear in the opposition, nope, creativity is needed to put the opposition in two minds, if a team can scheme against us easily we will never win, j would rather loose throwing the ball around then just sticking to a ficking shit formula of doing f**k all

2005 was also defense. Sharpe came in our turned our defense around

f**k sharp, he I'd the most overrated coach in history of aus sport, his contributions have done squat to our side.

Strides- 2009 was all offloads and ad lib - that got us to the final, team spirit was the result of offloads, adlib and not giving a f**k

If the aim of the structure being put in place is to conceed a lot of points and score next to no points then we are going great guns. With no second phase play how are we expected to score points? And we are just to flat when we are in an attacking position near the opposition try line.

no - i think team spirit breeds all good things .... it makes offloads cos u trust your teammate is there; it helps defense cos you trust your teammate will take his man and you cna concentrate on yours .... beer and pizza nights is where it's at

What sh*ts me about our attack on the oppositions line is all we seem to do on the last is kick to the wingers, what ever happen to grubbing the ball into the in goals for another set or what about an attacking move.
