Kicking off another season of CDRL action on the League Unlimited forums, albiet a bit early, but what else can you do when you're waiting for the season to start?

I'll use this thread between now and kickoff to post a bit of information and history about each of the ten premiership clubs, results of previous seasons, introduce two new ranking tables which I have devised to sort the contenders from the pretenders, and answer any general questions and queries that you may have about the CDRL.

I thought this was Arthur's seventh season though (hasn't he been around since 1999?)

You could be right about Arthur. I was trying to guess how many years he had been there. When I learn of the other two appointments I will post them.

I have heard Tully can't get a coach and Matt Clifford will go around again.

Yarrabah, well who knows what is happening with a completely new board overthrowing the old one.

The Mareeba Gladiators have been dealt a severe blow with their appointed Captain/Coach, Nathan Pettit returning to NSW after one day in the town. He has advised the club he will not be coaching them in 2005. No reason has been given for his departure and I will try and get to the bottom of the drama.

2 new kiwi boys have travelled over with me. shuld be good to see how they go.
