Move over Matt 'The Turtle' Renshaw.

    Bancroft.

I haven't seen such a determined, steely-eyed cricketer since the great Stephen Waugh.

And the look he gave Anderson after his throw will give him nightmares for the rest of the tour.

Looking forward to a long summer of brilliance from this man.

He played well, but by day 4 and 5 the pitch was absolutely a belter.

He will be tested in adelaide but I like the way he goes about things.

Bancroft either goes a bit too hard early or is just nervous.

Hopefully he does well in Adelaide.

Lucky cricket isn't all about techniques because the likes of Bradman, Lara and Smith would be f**ked.

Every time time I see a appreciation thread, it reminds me of the great man Jacques Kallis, I miss him dearly

He comes across as slightly retarded. Him and Warner are a match made in heaven.

As a matter of fact I miss that era of cricket full stop - the 90s to late 2000s.

All my Bae cricketers are gone. Lara, Sachin, Kallis, Sanga, Gilly, Warney (merkin but an electrifying cricketer), Flintoff, etc.

AB and Dale Steyn are like my 'Last of the Mohicans'.

I'm just not feeling it with the new generation of cricketers. Maybe it's because of the trending shift in primary focus to T20 hit n giggle.

It's a bit like my long waned love of WWE. Get your shit together you merkins.

Maybe I'm just getting boring and harder to entertain in my old age.

His technique is pretty average, you could of fit a truck through bat and pad today on his dismissal.
