The cost of ANZ Stadium

Has anyone got figures on how much it costs an NRL team to hire out ANZ stadium per game??

Any help would be great

Souths, Saints, Wests Tigers and presumably Parramatta all get a guaranteed income from ANZ Stadium games. That is, the ANZ Stadium pays them to play at the ground, not the other way around.

Not sure about the Bulldogs but I assume they have a similar deal.

Correct as far as the Tigers go.

The only reason we play there is because it is guaranteed income no matter what, with the possibility of more money the larger the crowd. That's my understanding anyway.

Souths get a great deal there, off the top of my head its 75k per game. As mentioned above if the crowd is larger, upwards 20k more money to Souths. Unlike the SFS at Telstra Souths also get to keep all of the merchandise sales.

Telstra stadium pay teams through the revenue they generate from stadium sponors and advertisements.

Teams don't pay anything. In 10 years time, every Sydney team will probably play there.
