they are competitive but still have not won a game..............
to me of they are not winning blood welsh talent if you want a team full of aussies watch quins. It was for this reason to be honest that they got in to put a welsh spot on the superleague map.

They players are all qld cup standard players except withers, hannay and terry martin don't get me wrong don't expect miracles but where will the win come from. They are trying to win over a rugby loving nation crowds have been ok but to me the boat was missed after the 95 world cup in swansea.

The young talent is good judged by the junior international on the weekend, but the need to look at recruitment next year a high profile nrl player like jones at catalans or a welsh rugby union star eg gavin henson because no one really gives a f**k about them at present.

Look at catalans crowds of up to 10 thousand and building a bigger ground and no doubt toulouse will get a licence come 2012 will have averages of the same to me it was a sake of putting a dot on the map without to much planning.

Terry Martin doesn't even play for them any more. Quins have less Aussies than most heartlands teams. Celtic are getting reasonable crowds and reasonable results considering they were a National League 2 club two years ago. Their crowds stand up to those of the Magners League regions based in Wales, and they are also planning on building a new stadium. They can't just create a bunch of Welsh juniors from nowhere, Aled James and Ben Flower who are genuine Welsh players have got a decent amount of game time this year and their reserves, made entirely of Welsh, are doing alright but it would be stupid to throw them in at SL level before they are ready. If you look at the Catalans foundation squad, they only really had two regular French players in Mounis and Fakir who kicked on and became regulars in the team, and that was with a whole league system behind them. You can't expect results in 10 weeks and it's not fair to judge a team after that amount of time. Celtic will be alright.
