The halfback you bought from Manly is cursed! Everywhere he goes there's turmoil. Hunters Mariners gone! Melbourne storm with debts up to there eyeballs, the Manly/Norths JV gone, now the curse has struck Cronulla.

The worst thing the Sharks did was to get rid of Preston, although Campbell will not be thinking along the same lines!!

How did Kimmorley get into the starting line-up for the test before Gower? Anything to do with the coach?

Anderson claims that Kimmorley has not played for four to five weeks and thus needs "the run".

 I hope he was kidding!

If something should happen to Gower on the tour, or in this game, the Roos would be left with a very underdone Kimmorley to play the Poms. If something happens to Noddy, Gower is still relatively match fit having played up until a week ago, and what's more, he will be better rested.

Either one should be good enough to beat the Kiwis, but playing Kimmorley develops the squad for the ashes tour. You conspiracy theorists can dispute it if you like but unless Noddy plays so well as to become undroppable, I think Gower will get the starting spot once they get to England.

I tend to think that unless Noddy has some fatal accident that he will be the Australian halfback all tour.

Then I think when Ricky Stuart takes over as coach that he will never see the green and gold jersey again.

When Sticky takes over, he will pick whoever Gould tells him to pick. 8)

Disclaimer: Ricky Stuart is his own man and Phil Gould has no influence over his decisions at the Roosters.
