I thought it might be interesting to find out what some of our ex players of any era are up to these days if anyone knows...so here goes the first few;

Peter Lewis-I know he went to Wests, but has since vanished
Tony Parmatagi(spl?)-PL Centre, went to the Raiders a few years back and hasn't been seen since
Andrew Meads-I have no idea what position he played, I think he was here in 2002/2003, might have been a lock? Got a few games when we were struggling
Chad Halliday-A centre, went to Penrith and then returned IIRC
David Westley-Was a prop....I remember him coming to my school back in 01 with Brad Drew

Any others?

and accourding to Wikipedia
David Westley (born June 7, 1974) was a rugby league front-rower who played for the Canberra Raiders, Parramatta Eels and the Northern Eagles between 1993 and 2002. His junior club was the Cairns Kangaroos. He has since returned to Cairns to coach the senior side. He is a former Papua New Guinea international. Westley was Canberra's Rookie of the Year in 1993 and was a part of the Grand Final winning side in 1994.

At Cabramatta last year and was trialling for a position in last years Premier League squad at the start of the season. Injury knocked him out for a while.

didn't Robson carve us up when we played Manly this season and Orford was a late withdrawal?

I wouldn't say he carved us up but he did ok...he had some handy blokes around him ;-)

on a side note, he is coming first in the player of the year award, 1 point ahead of James Maloney heading into last weeks round.

I think Meads went back to QLD or something not sure.

Speaking of going back to QLD, Chris Muckert and Shane Muspratt. Not sure which club Muckert is playing for but I know he's in the Queensland Cup, as for Muspratt he's captain coach for Mackay Cutters.

Nathan Hollingsworth last I heard was playing in England

Nathan Hollingsworth playing Manly A Grade for Valley United I believe, which would make sense seeing he was last sighted as a Sea Eagle.

Chris Muckert seems to be with Wynnum Manly in Qld.

muckert playin prop for the mighty wynnum manly seagulls, who got bashed by redcliffe in the finals last week by 40 odd points. the other prop off the bench was ben czlowski? famously known up here for getting a tooth lodged in his head & not finding it till weeks later. dallas mcilwain also plays for wynnum, i trained him at work the other week and it looks like his back is stuffed and hes undertaking an electrical apprenticeship for the future.
