The end of At The Movies

An end of an era.

I always enjoyed this show of 28 years(!)

Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton always gave very good reviews and delivered them in an entertaining manner with a compelling rapport.

I give them both 5 stars!

Sad to see it come to an end.
I hadn't actually watched their show in years, but I used to catch it every week.
Mum still watched it and would always let me know what both David and Margaret thought of whatever we were likely to go and see.

Good on them. They've had the best job in the world for 28 years, and now hey can retire to spend more time...watching movies I guess.

Agreed David loved sniffing his own farts but you always need a good antagonist!

Loved both of them, disagreed with their opinions at times but they both know what they are talking about.

David is great! I love that he shares my passionate disdain for the hand-held "queasy cam" shooting style.

My only qualm with them is that they were unreliable when reviewing Aussie films. They tended to champion rather than critique. But since they were really the only voice it made sense for them to lead the cheering for the local industry.

They'll be missed

yep always stopped to watch this when channel surfing. Didn't mind either of them, they were both playing characters to a certain extent.
