Not sure this should be posted on the NRL page so be free to move it but I wonder if anyone can remember or have a copy of a film from 1988 which was shown on TV called The First Kangaroos starring Dennis Waterman from British show Minder and meant to have Wayne Pearce and Andrew Ettingshausen as I looked on Youtube and no luck sadly.

Remember watching the film as a kid, definitely has Wayne Pearce and ET, Wayne Pearce played his Grandfather Sandy Pearce. Not a bad film and was a real novelty as kid to watch a movie about Rugby League, the other novelty was playing ET's Rugby League.

Agreed. That Second Test at Old Trafford where Ricky Stuart ran 80m to put Meninga in for the match winning try remains the greatest game of rugby league I've ever seen.
I was standing in the crowd about 5 m from where big Mal scored that try, one of the greatest days of international rugby league history, honestly if we had decent people running our game we could have a proper calendar of international matches that would be mega bigger than boring old State of Origin
