I can't imagine why we would release him mid contract.

At the end of the year, as a replacement for Cronk, I guess, then he and the Roosters can weigh up their options.

You can't tell me he is any more likely to get a go in first grade this year behind Keary and Cronk than he is with us.

He is a ton of potential, but it is also not really the Roosters style to play someone on potential, they want proven first grade stars.

I don’t mind loosing Kyle to the Roosters, he is a bit slow but he has a big boot on him. SJ is better and if injured we can put B2 in.

Johnson and Chad were already signed when he re-signed just earlier this year.

Presumably the club has a plan in place for him which is probably taking over from Chad in 2021.

Also if we lose one of the Braileys this year, could be he becomes our 14 next year.
