THe Footy Show DVD

I have just finished watching the Footy Show DVD and I have to say I am really disappointed with it. There is a lot of recent stuff on there with Matty Johns which is really funny but the majority of it is Fatty and Sterlo and no Blocker, who looking back on it was pretty damn funny. There was even no Gilly singing Memories in the early years of the show, which i regard as the funniest moment ever on the show.
So basically I am really disappointed that they edited everything that contained Blocker in it which was all the early years when the show was at it funniest.

Too much bad blood between them these days. There's still respect for him as a player, but poor old Blocker has lost it now. Tune in to he and Hadley together and you can see just how bitter they've become.

Yeah was actually listening to them today calling the penrith v parra game, they were bloody funny on the footy show but are so damn boring on the radio.

Should've heard them the weekend Fatty lost his spot on the Manly board.

I only listen to them if they are calling a game i want to hear - but i only turn it on just before the game starts - to much dribble happens before then

Gee they would have really went to town on them, I think the problem is only with Fatty. I went to the Rooster v knights game at Aussie Stadium earlier this year and was that early I saw The radio and Tv boys arrive. We saw Blocker and sterlo chat to each other outside the stadium for at least half an hour. We thought that was interesting since we thought the problem was with all of them.

i was acutally wondering if they would have blocker in it...my dad and i were talking about it....disappointing because thats part of teh footy show......

is it worth watching, coz from what they have been showing on tv it looks pretty good!

Oh poor Blocker.

He never kept up with the other guys, he stood out like a sore thumb. If he holds anything against the other guys then i say to him, it was your lack of ability to keep a conversation going that removed you. Blocker is the type that likes to speak last, you know what i mean? He cant handle being argued with and he would get too serious.

He is a no talent idiot, that belongs with the no talent master Hadlee. Sideous and Vader :lol:

Basically what you have been seeing on Tv is the whole DVD, they have a behind the scenes look at the making of the footy show but thats about the only special feature.

I thought it was disappointing but thats just my opinion, it is worth a look but i wouldn't buy it.

I haven't seen the DVD yet, so are their any extras and or easter eggs on it, or is it like it on VHS?

I agree with what ppl say about the 2GB show they always seem to keep banging on about bloody trucks.

All I can say is thank goodness that 2HD has big Gazza instead of Hadley if they do a Knights game
