The Good Old Days

It really is a sad situation that we find ourselves in at the moment regarding the weakness of our forward pack. As seperate entities both Balmain and Wests prided themselves on the size, toughness and intimidating aspect of their packs. Even when the Tigers were shithouse throughout the 90's we were still known as a physical side who would provide a bruising encounter. The current pack is nothing short of abysmal. No size, no aggression, no speed and no hitting power. Oh how my heart longs for a pack like the good old days.

forwards, i loved the tigers forwards of the late 80 early 90's they could do it all and they could play for more then 15-20 minutes aswell, i still think we should of offered something to blocker wether it be assistant forwads coach or anything just having him around talking with the guys would have them going better then they are now, (i know manly is shithouse but they did beat us)

i think we saw blocker's influence on the pack on sunday. blokes like donnelly, harris and especially leulai put on some big hits combined with a bit of biff and niggle. bring back leulai - he is what we dont have - someone who can rattle bones

AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH.....how many years ago did Leuleui go to the Roosters? Ummmmm, 2001 if i'm not mistaken.....then to the Eels, then back to Manly.....and only this year has he got a first grade spot - and if he's such a first grader, why has he only played first grade this season and not regularly during the last 2 or 3? Oh and why did Manly buy Kite and Kennedy? Because Leuleui is such an awesome player? I think not

Sorry, but if it takes 3 years for you to put on 2 big hits in a game - then i'm not too fussed about you not being at my club
