I can honestly say as a Knights fan i look back on the 1997 Grand Final game with pride and nostalgia but the trophy itself - na. Half a comp and a drugs scandal to boot - it's a tarnished win for me. The 2001 GF meant much more.

IMHO - James Tamou has the ability to become a legend in the book of front rowers. I already think he has surged past Matt Scott to be the games best front rower right now. It'll be interesting to see if he can continue to dominate because if he continues this quality over a career of 8-12 years he'll join the likes of Petero, Lazarus and Webcke as modern day front row immortals. I know there is the likes of McGuire, Woods and Mautilino producing the goods too but Tamou is a class above imo.

Be interesting to see how much he'll demand and how many clubs will bite at the price. Wouldn't be suprised to see 5-7 clubs throw 500-650k his way.

Today South Sydney has announced the signing of the fourth Burgess brother, Tom. This gives us an impressive engine room for 2013 which includes the following:

S Burgess, Asotasi, L Burgess, Lima, G Burgess, T Burgess.

This is arguably the greatest 6 prop rotation in the history of the salary cap era. IMO I think it is. You have a genuine superstar in Sam, established quality in Asotasi, Lima and Luke and superstar potential in Tom and George. And the fact that we've got all 4 brothers here gives a MASSIVE inbuilt advantage of keeping them for unders when contract time comes around. Can anybody name a better set of 6 props in the history of the salary cap era?

Also have 4 brothers ever played in the same 17 in the history of rugby league?
