I HATE YOU :(

what a great grandfinal series that was though. We will never have a team like that again.

Mackinnon
Rillie
Dwight
Trahair (when he was good)
Hinder
Markovic (Rookie of the year)
Dave Panisi

My favourite moment was also in that same year. It was the semi final against Wollongong Hawks. We smashed them that night and on the buzzer Rillie hits a monster 3 pointer from very deep and he comes over to our members stand and we all wave the Hawks good bye.

12th April 2000

Defeating Brian Goorjian’s Victoria Titans in the second game of the 2000 Final Series [83 – 76]. A full Perth Entertainment Centre 7,500 – 8,000 screaming fans. Now that was NBL atmosphere at its best.

The win was special considering Goorj had the likes of Chris Antsey, Tony Ronaldson, Jason Smith, Darryl McDonald, Brad Sheridan, Frank Drmic, Brett Wheeler and Ben Pepper. It was the first season that Andrew Vlahov and Luc Longley took over the franchise. We became the first NBL franchise to win 4 championships, Paul Rogers was MVP of the league and Ricky Grace won Grand Final MVP.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t at the 1995 Championship as that would have topped it off.

I think it was in 04. Because I know we had an OT loss to the Tigers then.

Kendrick Johnson... my goodness

Not a good video to be Simon Dwight in...

How many steps did Kendrick Johnson take in that last video? I counted three and a half! Even so, that was a ripper of a slam. Josh Smith-like in every sense (maybe cause it's a lefty dunk) Great vid!
