The Jake Friend Appreciation Thread

Jake is a cool dude who doesn't afraid of anything.

As much as I love Morts, I get a little sad when he comes on, knowing that Jake is on the bench and can't work his magic around the ruck.

Jake has been amazing this season, dude tackles like no tomorrow, and his dummy half runs are pretty sweet. Gotta love him.

Yeah, last season, a large percentage of Jake Friend's tackles were from him being third man in and his attack was average. This year, he's improved immensely in attack and defence. Great to see how he's come along.

Morts is vital to jake being as good as he is this year. The spells jake is getting when morts comes on keeps him fresh. He's been fantastic this year and Robbo was spot on giving him one of VC's.

 

[Horrie Is God]

I am developing a serious case of man love for Jakey..

His form this year has been a revelation..his running game is getting to elite levels, & his pass selection is getting silky..
