The Last of Us

It has just been announced that Naughty Dog will be working, or should I say is working on, a new IP to be called 'The Last of Us'. Just after the release of Uncharted 3, many had been concerned that they would destroy their franchise with a new game, while rumours of a new Jak title had also been floating around, however they have officially been put to bed.

They now have two Naughty Dog teams and so there is possible hope for a Jak or Drake installment still, but I believe they will all be working on THe Last of Us to have it released ASAP!

i dont think they want to tell us just yet haha. this is being made by Naughty Dog team 2 so it may come with fresh innovation and awesome gameplay! i just want it now haha! I love naughty dog games, and ill buy the first one always and normally, i love it right away!

Crash Bandicoot, took me through my child hood.
Jak and Daxter, took me through my pre teen angst years.
Uncharted, took me through my teenage years,
The Last of Us, will take me into adult hood.

Former lead designer on Enslaved, Mark Richard Davies, also revealed on Twitter that he is working on The Last of Us at the Uncharted and Jak studio.

Listening to an interview with the lead designers on this game and they said the main two influences for the game were

1. The Nepalese Village level in Uncharted 2
2. No Country for Old Men...
