I'm sure this is the kind of information that needs to be disseminated across the internet, so feel free to copy and paste this list.
Here is a list of current playing Towns and Cities within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
Contrary to popular belief usually portrayed by certain National Media Groups, Rugby League is not a regionalised game at all and is quite clearly a FULLY NATIONAL GAME.

Most clubs are constantly looking for players of all standards so lets get playing.......

Blackburn must be a strange place! It's the only major town inLancashire without a Rugby League team. Bolton, Preston, Blackpool and Burnley all have RL teams, so what's wrong with Blackburn?

Mac, ok, that might be true now, but Burnley is more of a soccer town (Bigger fan base) Than Blackburn yet there is still Rugby League played in Burnley, plus the adjoining town ofColne, even Accrington has RL. I can't spot another sizeable northern town without a Rugby League team.

If Southampton and Luton canfield a team, then Blackburn should be able to muster at least one.

I count at least 70 towns and cities outside of the traditional RL area's of West and East Yorkshire, South Lancashire and West Cumbria (And that's just in BARFL) Where Rugby League is now played. Does that sound like a game which is on it's last legs.
