He is wanted, the club said so last week and did you not notice the in Monas we trust sign at one of the Manly games before he was re-signed? Ok Max pressured the board about the contract but that's because Max knew that the fans want Monas at Manly. What I posted in rumoured signings is right from the man himself not the club, not his manager but Michael Monaghan and he said that today. there was also heaps of topics on Manly's forum asking for management to re-sign him. Monas is sick of the rumours that he's going to play for another club and so am I, he's not going anywhere and uh Charlie does a new 3 year contract mean nothing to you?

Ben Harris had a contract with the Dogs...they let him go for personal reasons
Preston Campbell had a contract with the sharks...they let him go as they had no place for him (credit C Anderson)
Brett Firman had a contract at the dragons...they let him go...signed a contract with the Roosters...they let him go...he is now with the Cowboys.
Todd Payten had a contract with the raiders...they had to let him go...

Contracts sometimes are worthless and can be gotten out of.

but Manly doesn't want to let Monas go even after the way he was playing before our win against the Broncos where before you guys made the score 21-20 Monas kicked a field goal they still want him I mean why would you get rid of a player that plays injured and ill(Canberra game this year Monas played with the flu) also one that the fans love?

Firman left his contract with the Roosters. Manly as far as Im aware doesn't have a reason to let Monas go dispite them signing Orford, there is no cap issue since like every club Manly has about 3.25 million to play with a year something the Broncos have trouble playing with, the fan love him, Souths it is alleged offered to take Monas off Manly's hands and oh Manly refused the offer and that was just last week.
