Looking at our team with some the shit that we have in there , what were we thinking in regards to being a premiership threat? did Brian "choker" Smith con us that much in the preseason??

Now to all the Parra Petes :? :? :? of this world who think that our team are going great guns then stop reading now as Im going to tell it how it is, u Brian Smith lovers might want to go read fairytale or something because your not going to like what I say.

Ok now that we have got rid of the Groupies I just want to bring up a few points:

I could go through the whole team and say who I want out but that would be just taking up to much time so this a list of who I'd keep:

These are the players I'd keep as there is hope for them still, we have some top players coming through premier league/flegg and we all know who they are and a back to Baby eels policy is not a bad Idea for next year.

Some of u say but they are to young but if there good enough they are old enough and it does look like Smith plays favourites just look at Wagon and Burt how he can justify there positions let alone awarding them new contracts is beyond me.

There needs to be a cleanout for the good of our club, Fitzgerald needs to grow some balls and sack the coach and his 7879087879 assistants and hire Dean pay and Cartright now.

From what i've heard McKinnon went alright. Haven't actually had a chance to see the game yet. Agree about Burt. A few years ago i rated him as one of the top players at the club. Now ie's struggling to keep his spot. Peterson really needs to be taught what a winger is supposed to do. If he's outnumbered he should call players across, not take it upon himself and move in.

Also can anyone comment on the 3 players put of report? Will we have a front row on friday night?

Burty is OK. He is NOT a centre- he is a winger- put him back there.

Get rid of Peterson and bring in a specialist Centre with some speed to partner Langi - and leave him there.


Dont know why we are worrring - SMITH is here to stay and it will continue to be crap.

Who remembers how much i was bagged when i posted a topic about Parra loosing & struggling this year just before the Bulldogs game??....i said we would loose by 40 and struggle for the rest of the year.....i was laughed at and called an idiot.

Why do people tolerate this shit for, where is the zero tolerence in our club??

There is no justification for Brian Smith & rewarding garbage.

I agree. We are now at the point where we have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We can't afford to wait till all the out of form players get back on track so it is time to give some of these young kids a go. What's the worst that could happen.....we get beaten just like we did today. Look at Newcastle; everyone thought they would struggle because they have had to use so many young players but they have now become good FG footballers because of that exposure just like the kids we had in 2000.

It's really getting very sad and boring now. We all know Smith has been running out of ideas for months now but ultimately it makes no difference because he has the 100% support of our CEO and we are sadly stuck with him like it or not.

I was willing to let the dissapointing efforts of last year and the year before go because of injuries to key players but there is no excuse for this years efforts. Smith is a good coach but face it guys, it's getting very stale and it's getting around about that time for him to move on. All good things have to come to an end. WE NEED FRESH IDEAS AND A FRESH APPROACH!
