Frances the Mute, set to be released March 22, 2005:

All the players are the same as have toured for a year now. However, the album will also include a great number of guest performers, including Larry Harlow as previously reported. It was produced by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, mixed by Rich Costey, and recorded in Australia, Los Angeles, Puerto Rico and New York.

Storm Thorgerson (Pink Floyd) is doing the artwork again, and the lyrics will be included in the package this time. The songs are both in English and Spanish. "The Widow" will be the single, and it will have a video.

The 77 minutes of music will be seamless all the way through. The tracklist looks like this:

FRANCES THE MUTE:

CYGNUS....VISMUND CYGNUS
A. SARCOPHAGI
B. UMBILICAL SYLLABLES
C. FACILIS DESCENUS AVERNI
D. CON SAFO

MIRANDA THAT GHOST JUST ISN'T HOLY ANYMORE

Relationship of Command was a masterpiece - The Mars Volta is dribble...

I'll second that.

De-Loused was like Radiohead's 'Kid A' - Everyone said it was great, but deep down, they knew it was a dissipoitment ;-)

Nah i think its great to hear something that you can listen right through the cd and it all fits together and it tells a story i mean i love De-Loused becuase it ran all through and had the story to it and with Kid A i thought it was really good, as nearly all the songs were just guitar

Kid A is genius - once you hear it live it changes everything. When I first heard it I thought it was weird and ordinary, but after hearing it live, it is clearly great (still behind The Bends and HTTT in my book tho).
