Im liking both shows alot but whats up with the huge maven push? i think his cool..mainly cause i watched him start out on tough enough and then make it as a "pro" but it doesnt look like he has any moves at all...besides high risk moves.

it seems weird cause he really hasnt done much for the crowd to like him too much and you can sense that by when he was talking..didnt have much people behind him.

If the WWE wanted to really look to make him big then you'd think he would do what shelton did which is take on evoloution and win...but they opt for the lame talk big get ass whooped move...sad thing is i like maven and want him around but he has no "flair".

maven is ordinary IMO, nothing but a nice drop kick

Triple H has made a career out of the Harley Race knee lift, a bottle of water and the Pedigree.

Maven isn't too bad. I'd rather see some of these young guys (Orton, Benjamin, Maven) given a push as opposed to the predictable Flair, Michaels and Benoit pushes. It would be a bit better if they actually won the belt for lonegr than a week though.

HHH made a career out of being great on the mic. HHH can also pull off a great match.
I dont know what it is about maven, but i dont like the guy. Maybe its because i dont like wrestlers that come from competitions...much like singers who come from Idol.

Helps if you sleep with the boss's daughter too. He knows how to work the mic but its about time he found some new material - ten years dishing out the same crap its no wonder he hangs around with Flair.

As for wrestling some of the most boring matches I have ever watched have involved HHH. Usually its up to his opponent to make it near watchable. Yes, he takes some big bumps but the best performance comes from the bloke who jobs for him....

Hope smackdown dont repeat last years disaster and have Hardcore Holly in the championship match, especially if it's against JBL. That would really put bums on seats

It's gonna be JBL V Undertaker V Eddie V Booker T @ Armegeddon.

Not a bad match but i think the undercard is going to be MEGA-weak.

I see RVD/Rey V Kenzo/Dupree

Spike V the cruiserwight flavour of the month.

Big Show and Angle will be involved somehow.

But apart from that............??? Heidenriech?? #-o

Cena is filming a movie, Carlito is injured. Who else is left. I think Armegeddon is heading for one massive train wreck.

The Undercard is going to be weak. I'll have a crack at it

MAIN: JBL vs. Ediie vs. The Undertaker vs. Booker T

US Championship (I am tipping the championship to be vacated for the 30 day rule ) They will hopefully have a tournament for the chapionship with the final 4 going for it at Armageddon!

Spike vs Josh matthews (Cruiserweight Championship

Big Show vs Angle NO holds barred match

RVD & Rey vs Kenzo and Rene Dupree for the Tag Titles

Heidenreich vs. Hardcore Holly

That would be a good card!

Before I get to Maven...

HHH made a career out of ring work, working the crowd, being over and also being one of the best heels the business has seen. If you were going to have a go at how he got where he is you should have used the old Kliq take on things

I don't see what HHH does in his sex life has to do with having good matches  . In the last ten years HHH has gone from a Flair clone jobber in wcw to a rich kid to helping vince and Taker to being the brains behind Austin being ran over to the power trip to evolution. I've missed other things he has done but to say he has done the same thing for 10 years is wrong. Last 2-3 with his evolution run maybe but the fact is, the WWE is in a down time and you need a proven guy to be there as champ. Orton vs Benjamin wouldn't draw at all. You need your big names around to help the product draw.

HHH bounces around like a pinball for guys to help them look good. Look at how he bounced around for Benoit and Orton. HHH is still a decent worker who can still go but due to the net people don't view his matches the same. HHH was one of the hottest guys in 2000 then he started to date daddys little girl, got hurt and came back to his same spot and the net went off :?

HHH can still go and go very well within the WWE levels. He has had some of the best matches in recent WWE/WWF history. The 3 way matches this year, the 2/3 falls with austin in 2001 and the ladder match against Rocky are 4 that come to mind right away when you think fo the best matches in the last ten years in the WWF/WWE

The only reason Triple H was so successful is because the WWE shoved him down our throats.

Heaps of wrestlers have been shoved down our throats by the WWE and not get over. Think of how Val Venis was used in 98-99, Regal 2000-2001, Billy Gunn 99, etc yet none of them could crack the main events. HHH has talent and got over with it. Don't forget the price HHH paid in 96 for being a part of the Kliq good bye where he was anything but shoved down our throats, so for him to be so over in 97 and 98 even after being used as a jobber shows the talent he had.

Now... I find Maven very lame. The tough enough ruined it for me. Maybe if he came through the system he might have worked but the fact that he "won" his job within the WWE and didn't earn it by working his way up. He just doesn't seem as one of the wrestlers rather a fan who has won a job and getting to wrestle against the big boys. Plus he can't string a decent run of matches together without getting hurt or the fact he uses the same moves and boring matches over and over again.

all the talk about maven not earning his spot is a load of crap..he beat out at the time over 500,000 contestants in order to be "Tough Enough" he worked his ass off backstage to get bigger and learn as much as he could...he has done enough in my books to be a wrestler.

I dont like Tripple H although thats cause he plays his role perfect, i mean who else could do what he does? not many...perhaps Y2J and thats it...
