Whilst thumbing through the form guide today and deciding who to invest my $10 at the Orange Grove pub tab i started dreaming about that soundbyte they play on Talkin Sport with the clips of 05 like the queers winning the AFL, makybe diva winning the cup and Payto's last try in the GF ... i watched the 2005 replay on youtube and looked at On a Jeune's run for 2nd and the thing came from near last (like us) and finished a length or so behind a champion like makybe diva. Much like the tigers (except we won the whole thing).
In 2006 in ran like a busted and has done so far this prep in 2007 ... again mirroring the tigers. I suggest we all watch out for No 14 this afternoon. A promising run might bode well for us but if it goes out with a whimper i predict a long 2008
I know this post has little to do with football but when you have a sub 40% win coach since 1996, a clown defensive coach and a nepotistic recruitment manager, one must draw inspiration from 7 year old geldings who haven't run a place in 24 months
