The non chargedown

Seriously.... What a crap call that was against the Sharks.
Pretty pivotal moment in the game as the Storm scored from the following set(s).

Did you hear the ref explain it to Gallen? He said it wasnt a chargedown because hedid not jump. He said the feet have to leave the ground in order for it to be rtuled that he played at the ball. Is he serious? Is that the rule? So you can run towards a kicker and put your hands in the air like you just dont care, but if you do not jump then it is not a chargedown?

Also, the last play of the first half when Snowden kicked across field. They ruled that the Sharks knocked it on... No chance. They did not show a replay of that but I rewound it a few times and there was no knock on from the Sharks.

was a touch and go kick. coulda been a masterstroke coulda fallen into a storm players hands and gone for a try. As said somewhere else here, he is shaping as good lock, i thought he was crap but lately he hasnt been too bad, heres hoping the good bots of him aint coached outta him

If you turn your back when rushing the kicker it is only considered playing at the ball if you jump through the air. Stupid rule possibly, but the ref got it 100% correct.
