Just as many English players struggle in the NRL as they do succeed and the biggest reason for this i believe is the difference in standards and professionalism. The SL is way behind the NRL in terms of structures.
English players playing in the NRL isn't the answer to their national team's problems, better coaching at club level is what is required at this current point in time.

I am not Adam Kungl, even though he makes almost as much sense when he writes as I do.

He has correctly identified French teenage sensation Lucas Albert as the next Mitchell Pearce.

Which English players have struggled in the NRL? Zak Hardaker maybe? But who else? I see only successes, even Mike Cooper at St. George-Illawarra..

Keeping in mind that the Brits who come to play NRL are amongst the best that Britain has to offer...
Joe Burgess, Sam Tomkins, Greg Eden, Jordan Rankin immediately spring to mind. There will be others who have come and gone who slip our minds.
Don't forget, Zak Hardaker was the reigning Man of Steel and England's number 1. He should have been more than capable to at least hold his own.

Yeah all these superstar backs in Super League have been fringe first grade quality in the NRL.

Forwards have been successful. But the 1-7 positions just arent even close. The best of those is probably Widdop and he has been awful outside of the Storm system . Inside it he had nothing to do really.

Lol Jordan Tansy.

As for Tomkins, Imo anyone would struggle in the incompetent Warriors structure.

there is not one pom who'd make the Aussie or Kiwi test squad.
There is a thousand who wouldn't get a gig in any NRL club team too.

Sam Burgess in his best form would walk into any national team. Ditto James Graham and Josh Hodgson.

In 2016 Hodgson was miles ahead of Isaac Luke and near the top in the Dally Ms. Hodgson is one of the three top hookers in the world (with Smith and Friend).

So a French guy is going to fail at Origin and try and f**k a dog?

Joe Burgess did well, once he got over his nerves, when he moved to Souths.

Sam Tomkins became a crock at the Warriors, and his career in England is now looking grim. (His replacement is a little Frenchman, named Morgan Escare).

Greg Eden was never a top tier Pommie back when he played in England, so he doesn't count.

There never was a Jordan Rankin, only a Jordan Tansy. Jordan Tansy was a Pommie pansy. He was never a top tier Pommie back, so he doesn't count.

Only Zak Hardaker has been an important backline flop in the NRL.
