Mr Beattie said the Commission also endorsed the tough stand taken by CEO Todd Greenberg against player misbehaviour.

"As a next step, we have asked the NRL leadership team to work with clubs, senior players and the RLPA to take immediate steps to reduce the integrity related issues we have seen over the last few months," he said.

"We want our game to adopt best practice strategies to mitigate the risk of things going wrong off the field.

"The responsibility for delivering this improvement rests with players, clubs, and the NRL."

How is this a tough stand by Greenberg?
He booted Barba which was a gimme and done f**k all about anyone/anything else.
The only other whispers out there is that Napa is gonna get punished which is f**king ridiculous.
He actually went out of his way to help Inglis get off .
f**king sick joke.
Speeding while over the limit.
Was Inglis even given a suspension from footy?

Banned for 2 games (tests against Kiwis and tonga). 2 games seems to be industry standard which is weak as piss. You get more for a shoulder charge.

And they wonder why there's a problem with player behaviour. Break a serious law, they give em a slap on the wrist.

Fifita got what ...6 weeks?? for swearing at a ref at a non NRL game ?
JT gets nothing for calling the NRL rigged in favour of NSW to the media.

Weird.

Maybe the fines are based on how the media portray the offender.

Fifita got more than Inglis did when he wrote 3 letters on his arm.
Banned from the Roos 4 nation squad and missed out on a deserved CC Medal.

The no dickhead policy went out the window when they hired Mal.

2 Test matches (stood down rather than suspended), which does sound like something to those who don't know the game, but its really nothing. Rugby League is not cricket. Even 2 NRL games would hurt a lot more, but it should be more than that.

Those references from people high up did the trick. The system is, and has always been broken.

Myles Taueli (Broncos) charged with reckless grievous bodily harm from a Christmas Day assault. No further information known at this time.

Got to hand it to the Broncos, that rug is pretty huge.
