aboriginal side looks old and ageing but plenty ok skill.i guess their easy pool againts an under strength cook islands and japan will give them an easy run to the quaters. It happens every year so it doesnt really matter.. i think there are a few smokeys, wenty and mounties look good and so does the tigers.. if campbelltown have 3 teams then i would say the (1s) will be filled with magpies nsw cup and windsor may produce something special as the bundy and nsw cup team train together... And lets not forget the entrance!!!!!!!

Looks like plenty of trialists in these 3 sides. Trindall is named in 2 teams.

The Wenty and Mounties sides look strong but the Mounties team listed in the official program is weaker than the one named in this thread with Mostyn, Farah and Utai not listed and Steve Galea, Adam Whitelaw and Troy Gibbs in their places.

Windsor Wolves took out the International 9's with victory over the Balmain Tigers in the Cup Final. From memory Cabramatta also defeated Campbelltown in the Plate Final?
I dropped in to see the finals and there seemed to be a good crowd still in attendance despite the rain. Does anyone have any other results??
Was hoping to see the Japanese, Fijian and Indigenous teams but seems none progressed that far?

Campelltown 1 beat Cabramatta 2 in the plate and Campbelltown 2 beat Brothers 2 in the bowl - great result for the Campbelltown club.

Most of the Windsor backs were bigger than the forwards for a lot of the other teams. 9's is different game to 7's you need some big guys.

Japan finished bottom of the 21 teams. The Aborigines won both pool games but Cook Islands reversed the result in a close quarter final.

Windsor beat Cooks easily and Balmain beat the Entrance in the semis. All of the results are on the NSWRL website.

Was a good day of footy, a little dissapointed that some teams did not field all of their top players however in saying that the weather probably stops a lot of the free flowing games that we saw last year.

Did notice that The Entrance did not have Grant Wooden playing for them.
I have heard that he has refused to play for them this year because they did not honour a deal he negotiated with them.
It will be a big blow if they lose him.

Was also witness to an almighty blow up in the Bulls camp just prior to them being beaten by Campbelltown in the plate 1/4 final.
Cant take anything away from Campbelltown they deserved the win and played good footy but you have to wonder about the Bulls, if they are arguing at this stage of the season imagine what they will be like come kickoff of the Bundy comp.

I caught the first 2 wenty games and then had to dash but I'm just wondering if anyone can answer a quick query, who was the number 22 in the side and was the side actually as per program??

not a big deal but just curious to know..
