Luke Williamson is an outstanding rugby league player who currently plays for the Manly Sea Eagles and is on the brink of state of origin selection. He has previously played for many clubs including the Adelaide Rams, Canberra Raiders, Northern Eagles and Manly Sea Eagles. He offers so much to a football team. His utility value is amazing. He has played full-back, wing, centre, five-eighth, half-back, front-row, lock and second row, but now he plays mostly off the bench - he is viewed as a "Mr Fix-it". He is one of the top 3 defenders in the game, he is one of Manly's tackle machines, the other being Glenn Stewart - the latter is known to make a few errors and miss a few tackles however. In his Canberra and Adelaide days he was a noted goalkicker, in 1997 he was Adelaide's top pointscorer and in 2002 he was Northern Eagles' top pointscorer with 98. Manly also often look to Luke as their general play kicker as he possesses such delicate touch. His running style has been compared to that of a dinosaur.
