We, the undersigned, demand that the board responsible for the Parramatta Rugby League Football Club immediately sack Brian Smith from the job of coach of the club.

We furthermore demand that mechanisms be put in place to ensure that the Parramatta Eels first grade team become the top team in Western Sydney, in terms of player quality, development and recruitment, coaching and tactics, and that the team be developed to become a constant and credible premiership threat in every season in which it participates.

40 years for me, I had the pleasure of watching the great Ken Thornett weave his magic at Cumberland. I have wanted Smith out for 2 1/2 years now and hopefully this year is his last. Nothing short of a premiership will change my mind on that.
