i am just observing the activity from the 15 other normal clubs and i notice something - SIGNINGS. and no, the old people do not count.

even look at today. even though i said james graham will be average in the nrl (he will be), the bulldogs signed someone who is proven at this level.

look at the quality free agents right now. you have young guns like hopoate, good forwards like blair, douglas (signed), snowden and friend, good backs such as beau champion, idris (signed). and parramatta could not get one of them. but hey, keep your carl webbs :lol:.

and they wonder why they suck...

Two things that has been irritating me about Parramatta's home games lately.... They play "Sweet Caroline" before they come out onto the field and they have those two wannabe hectics interviewing the spectators on the big screen. cause something tells me when i look at the ladder that maybe, just maybe, souffs should spend less time running rings and more time running the football..

the only team that you are running rings around is canberra..

and even then i'd be a little concerned, as there is normally only one thing that runs around in rings down there..

Simple reason is they cannot afford to sign such players..their management have been a rabble for some time and their one profitable leagues club is slashing the grant to the football club.
This means the morons masquerading Parra officials have less to spend and bills to pay, the crowds are fair weather fans so they go doggo at the chance of a poor season, this all affects their revenue.
They had a big shot at a title not long ago but went androtop and have never recovered!

our recruitment last year was bad but it isn't like the team is horrible. We still have 3 very good props (Mannah, Fui, Poore) plus Hindmarsh and Shakelton in the pack. MaGuire has been very good in the 9 with Horo and Lasalo having their moments.

In the backs we have Hayne, Reddy and Burt who are proven first graders and the last two spots have been filled well with Loko, Etu and Atkines. Not the best backline in the world but with more than enough quality there.

Our halves have always been the problem and before signing anyone else i can imagine the club will try and fix this first. If Parra can snare Sandow and another half (Widdop or A.Kelly) they will then probably look to sign up a backrower and centre (already linked to T.Symonds and Vaivai)
