This guy has been flamed by St Kilda and the media for allegedly going behind St Kilda's back and doing his own deal with Freo.

If I was looking for another job I'm not sure I'd be blabbing to my boss about it.

One of the reasons for his criticism is not using his agent, who would have no doubt kept everyone informed including the press and probably even shopped him around to get a higher price and hence bigger commission.

Personally I think agents are one of the the biggest scums on this earth, along with those who produce women's gossip magazines and current affairs shows.

So what has he done wrong ?

Ross Lyon has done nothing wrong IMO. The dockers shafted Mark Harvey but that is about the worst of this saga IMO.

Also he didn't use his agent because Mark Harvey uses the same agent and thought it would be a conflict of interest.

He had a clause in his contract to walk away, so he used it. Boohoo. St Kilda had all year to sign him up but they dragged their feet, tough titties Saints.
